How long does it take to process my Membership if I use the Online Form:
- If you use the online form you will get a submission confirmation immediately. Generally we process memberships and have them in the mail within 3 days, often faster than that ... how long Canada Post takes is another story.
- If time is critical then attending at Amos Realty in Oliver is your best bet ... or come out to the range on a shoot day and pick one up from the shoot co-ordinator ... either way you get your card and key right away
How soon will I receive my BCWF membership after I join the SOSA:
- SOSA sends membership in batches to the BCWF monthly, they then are processed by BCWF. Earlier in the year they are a bit slower as many clubs have their membership years start in Jan and they get a bit swamped. As a general rule you should be able to log onto your MyBCWF account within 6 weeks of joining. For more info please refer to the BCWF website.
What are the SOSA range hours:
- 8:00am to 9pm during daylight hours only, 365 days a year.
What is a turkey shoot and how does it work:
- The Turkey shoot is an annual event held at SOSA the second Sunday in December. It is primarily a shotgun event but recently includes .22 shooting . Participants shoot at clay targets in the shotgun events and paper targets in the .22 event. All events have separate novice and seasoned participation . Prizes for all events are Good size Turkeys and hams. It is a very well attended shoot and we usually give out close to 100 prizes to the winners of all the shoots. It is important to note that No actual Turkeys are harmed at this event. Come and participate or just come and watch and enjoy a nice lunch.
